Filters and Long Exposures
Filters can enhance your images beyond what can be seen by the human eye. They can extend your exposure time to several seconds or even several minutes! Your images will convey the passing of time.
Use them to control exposure in harsh lighting, turn flowing water silky smooth and create streaks in the clouds.
I have adapters for most sizes of lens filter thread. I will demonstrate and you can then practise with mine if you don't have your own set.
A good solid tripod is needed for this, but you can borrow mine if necessary. Depending on your camera model, you may also need a remote control to reach exposure times beyond 30 seconds.

I usually teach this subject in Bushy Park and we need to avoid a rainy day!
